Taking in the office
Move with WASD or the arrow keys, or click anywhere on the floor to walk there. Click a cubicle to walk to its entrance. Hold Shift to run. Movement follows the screen, so up always takes you away from the camera.
Double-click to look closer at a spot or a cubicle; double-click again, or press 0, to step back. The − buttons fold the panels away, and they fade while you walk.
Press E near the coffee machine, radio, or a workstation. Press C for a closer camera, M to toggle music, and Escape to pause.
Drag the office to tilt and turn it, right-drag (or Shift-drag) to slide it, and scroll or pinch to zoom. On the keyboard: R/F tilt, Q/Z turn, +/− zoom, Page Up/Page Down slide, and 0 resets the view. The panel on the right has the same controls.
Your character wears a teal jacket and black glasses inspired by your portraits. Use Close-up to see the details. Press H to wave (nearby coworkers wave back) or B for a short dance. Walk to end a gesture. The optional four-stop tour uses Take me there to guide you; press E or tap the interaction prompt when you arrive. Tour progress lasts for this visit.
The wider lobby has six waiting chairs and three check-in windows. Use Visit the lobby piano to walk to the baby grand, then press E to pick a recording. A piano-style placeholder is included. Stop playback or walk away to return to the office soundtrack.
Click Screensaver or press V to watch the office run itself. Daniel visits the piano, reception, desks, coffee corner, and thinking room; roaming coworkers stop to interact. Click the scene or press Escape to take over. The quiet view has optional sound and fullscreen controls. Switching tabs pauses it, and returning resumes it.
Every so often the lights go out and the music changes. Press L to make it happen.
The soundtrack crossfades between four musical layers. Different rooms change the mix, walking brings in the bass, and running adds more percussion.
A little music while the world waits.
Ready when you are.
Music continues when you close this panel. Walk away from the piano to stop. The office soundtrack returns automatically.
